What this Vietnam UD1 assessment checks

The assessment records the claimed legal basis, any applicable Law 71 and Decree 353 qualification group, sponsor or filing readiness, evidence, document authentication, family plan, and current operating checkpoints for professional review.

  • the claimed legal basis, Decree 353 qualification group, route-specific structure, and sponsor or host anchor;
  • evidence, document-authentication, family, and filing-channel readiness;
  • current labor, data-coordination, temporary-residence, Apostille, pre-arrival, and health-instruction checkpoints.

What it does not decide

It does not determine eligibility, guarantee approval, establish work authorization or tax treatment, or replace the competent authority or a qualified professional.

For the source-bound framework and current open questions, read the Vietnam UD1 guide. For a separate VIFC information question, use the information intake.

Current legal baseline

Reviewed September 24, 2026. These checkpoints inform the questions; they do not replace current authority instructions.

Law 118/2025/QH15 — UĐ1 and UĐ2

Effective July 1, 2026. UĐ1 includes qualifying high-quality digital-technology workers and other preferential cases under laws, National Assembly resolutions, or Standing Committee resolutions. UĐ2 covers the spouse or child under 18 of a foreigner granted UĐ1. The quiz does not decide eligibility.

Decree 327/2025/NĐ-CP — IFC immigration framework

The IFC framework is separate and organization/role dependent; it must not be blended into one automatic five- or ten-year promise.
