Tier A (Strong Fit)
Strong alignment with the current UD1/SVEC or IFC-linked framework. Vietnam’s Apostille Convention entered into force for Vietnam on September 11, 2026. For qualifying public documents exchanged between Vietnam and a contracting state with an operational relationship, a valid Apostille may replace consular legalization; confirm the document scope, issuing country, receiving authority, translation, and filing channel before filing.
Tier B (Possible Fit)
Credentialed but dependent on sponsor fit, route selection, and whether the case belongs under the general SVEC track or an IFC-linked track.

Legislative Alignment
Connecting Assessment to Codified Law
Law No. 118 / Article 4
Creates the UD1 principal and UD2 dependent symbols. Our pre-screening uses it as the parent statute, not as a guarantee of approval.
Decree 221 / General SVEC
Governs the general five-year Special Visa Exemption Card route for verified global talent. Sponsor readiness and evidence quality remain central.
Decree 327 / IFC Framework
Governs IFC-linked immigration benefits such as the up-to-ten-year residence card, UD2 dependents, and a permanent-residence pathway for qualifying long-term talent. IFC tax treatment belongs separately under Decree 324.
